the story

he learned to surf
at 12. he never stopped.

Niyar Surf was founded by Abdelilah, whose connection to the ocean started at a young age. He learned to surf on an old borrowed board — and has been drawn to the sea ever since.

When he first arrived in Mirleft, something clicked. The coastline, the rhythm, and of course the waves. He decided to stay — to build his life here, close to the ocean he loves.

Today, he shares that passion with everyone who comes here — finding the most joy in the excitement of someone riding their very first wave.

Abdelilah.

Born and raised close to the sea, Abdelilah has been surfing since he was young. When he found Mirleft, he found home. He built Niyar Surf around a simple belief: that surfing should be personal, unhurried, and shaped around the ocean — not around a schedule.

His local knowledge of the coastline is what makes every session here different. He finds the most joy in the excitement of someone riding their very first wave — and that has never changed.

Mikki brings the vision and structure that shapes everything beyond the water — from retreats and communication to the way Niyar Surf looks and feels.

Together with Abdelilah, she is building a brand that reflects the place, the pace, and the people who come here. Slow. Real. Atlantic.
